4 de outubro de 2021 – Dia Mundial dos Animais e Dia de São Francisco de Assis, protetor dos animais.

October 4th, 2021 – World Animal Day and the feast day of Saint Francis of Assisi, the protector of animals.

Nós, da Escola Feminista, defendemos com todas as forças os direitos das mulheres e também dos animais. Somos veganas e denunciamos a crueldade com que os animais são tratados, crueldade igual à que o patriarcado pratica contra as mulheres.

We, from the Feminist School, defend the rights of women and also of animals with all our might. We are vegan and denounce the cruelty with which animals are treated, cruelty equal to that which patriarchy practices against women.

Neste momento, viemos divulgar duas de várias petições que assinamos, para salvar os bisões do Grand Canyon, nos Estados Unidos da América. Esses animais, da família dos bovídeos, estão em risco de extinção e parte da população vive na floresta de Yellowstone, no Grand Canyon.

At this moment, we are here to share two of several petitions that we have signed to save the bison from the Grand Canyon in the United States of America. These animals, part of the bovine family, are at risk of extinction and part of the population lives in the Yellowstone forest in the Grand Canyon.

A caça ilegal atinge os pobres animais inocentes, de forma covarde e traiçoeira. Precisamos impedir isso de acontecer.

Illegal hunting targets innocent poor animals in a cowardly and treacherous way. We need to stop this from happening.

As fêmeas bisões, particularmente, sofrem muito pela caça, pois há relatos terríveis de fêmeas grávidas trucidadas, sofrendo com a barriga aberta e seus pequenos filhotes, ainda fetos, deixados para morrer. Essas coisas ocorreram em caçadas nos anos anteriores. Essa crueldade precisa ser parada!

Bison females, in particular, suffer greatly from hunting, as there are terrible reports of pregnant females slaughtered, suffering from open bellies and their small cubs, still fetuses, left to die. These things have occurred on hunts in previous years. This cruelty needs to be stopped!
